RESEARCH ARTICLES PART I

After writing the book titled, The Other Catholics, Obedient and Faithful (TOCOAF), it was decided to continue the research effort and prepare articles that would assist our Eastern Catholic bishops to fully implement their papal-approved canon law and solve the priest shortage.

Starting in 1994, hundreds of ABCRC articles have been prepared to provide research results of statistics, studies, and personal experiences that would aid in assisting our Catholic bishops "to go forth and teach all nations" by having an unlimited supply of holy priests.

The ABCRC articles that have had the greatest impact thus far are the statistical articles accompanied by interpretations of the statistics and direction therein. Initially, we will present up to 40 of the most significant articles and, as a result, prayerfully, provide you with an opportunity to understand the primary objective of the ABCRC effort. It is important, as you read each artcle, that you are aware of the print date of the article because some comments, especially on statistics, are at those dates. Each ABCRC article was intended to stand alone on the subject therein; consequently, on occasion, the article may include a repeat of some information previously included in an earlier ABCRC article.

The ABCRC articles are numbered, titled, with the intent of you selecting the ones that may interest you and, eventually, encourage you to read all of the articles to obtain a full research analyses. To assist you in first understanding the statistics and the "priest shortage," and thereby more fully appreciate the articles, it is sggested that you thoroughly read #200 January 2011 through #206 FEBRUARY 2011 to grasp the statistical status of every country, every continent, and the world. The documents #200 TO #206 are also summarized to allow you to follow the numerical trend of the number of Catholic priests, sisters, seminarians, and, importantly, the ratio of faithful per priest that provides a comparative analysis of the priest shortage in every country and continent.
